Full text of Joo Eun-rae's remarks on June 28, 1963: History cannot be manipulated.

In China's modern and contemporary history, the Chinese cite former Chinese Prime Minister Mo Taek-dong and Zhu Eun-rae as the two leaders of the Chinese Revolution, criticizing the Chinese nationalist historians' high-altitude, Goguryeo, and Balhasa distortion of ancient Korean territory instead. "This is mainly due to Chinese historians and many people describing history from the perspective of nationalism and nationalism, so many problems have been unfairly used," he said, pointing out that China is responsible for the fundamental distortion of history. This is a remark that shakes the basis of historical distortions such as "Chinese history in Goguryeo" and "Chinese history in Balhae history" as China recently promoted "Northeast Fair," and China's distorted premise of "Chinese history in Goguryeo" for political purposes. --------------- On June 28, 1963, Prime Minister Joo Eun-rae mentioned the relationship between China and Joseon during an interview with the delegation of the Chosun Academy of Sciences on June 28, 1963, Prime Minister Joo Eun-rae mentioned the following during an interview with the delegation of the Chosun Academy.   The important contents are as follows. The current mediation relationship is very close and historically so, but it can be divided into the following three periods. The first period was the historical relationship between the two Chinese countries and the two ethnic groups. The second period was when both China and Joseon were invaded by imperialism at the same time, and Joseon became a Japanese colony and China became an anti-colonial land of imperialism, including partial Japanese colonies.   China and Joseon during this period were revolutionary relations. The third period is the present, and we are all socialist countries and are related to the Brotherhood Party and Hyeongguk. There are several problems worth studying in the relationship between the two countries of China and Joseon during these three periods. Through investigative studies on historical relations, ethnic relations, and revolutionary relations, the perspectives and views of both sides were completely matched and then recorded in both documents and books. This is a major event of our historian and it should have been appropriate. This is also one of the areas in which we, party activists who engage in political activities, should naturally strive.   The first period is proved by the culture discovered since historical records. The relationship between the two countries and the two ethnic groups was a very long time for more than 3-4,000 years until it was stopped due to imperialist aggression. Some of the historical records of the two countries about this historical age do not correspond very much to the truth. This is the main cause of Chinese historians and many people's description of history from the perspective of nationalism and nationalism. Thus, many problems have been unfairly written.   First of all, some Chinese scholars' views on the development of both ethnic groups in the past were not very accurate, and they were not very practical. The Korean people have lived there for a long time since they entered the Joseon Peninsula and the northeastern continent. The footsteps of the Joseon people remain in the Yoha and Songhwagang basins. This is proved in the Yoha, Songhwagang basins, cultural objects excavated in the Domungang basins, and inscriptions, and traces of it remain in numerous Joseon literature. It can be proved that the Korean-Chinese have lived there for a long time. The remains of Balhae remain near Gyeongbaekho Lake, and it was also the capital of Balhae. What the culture excavated here proves is that it was also a branch of the Korean-Chinese. This country has existed for quite some time historically. Therefore, it is proved that the Korean-Chinese not only lived in the Joseon Peninsula but also lived in the basins of the Yoha and Songhwagang River for a long time. As for whether the Korean-Chinese existed a long time ago, some have drifted in southern Asia, but this is a separate problem. However, what is clear is that some of the Korean-Chinese originally lived on the Korean Peninsula. It is clear that he lived in the basins of the Domungang River, Yoha River, and Songhwagang River, and historical records and excavated cultures have already proven it. In terms of national lifestyle, there is also a lifestyle that comes from South Asia. In other words, rice farming, taking off shoes when entering the room, and pronunciation of language are a little close to the pronunciation of the Guangdong coastal region in Korea. Some residents of Korea's Guangdong coastal waters have migrated from South Asia. Let historians do more in-depth research on this issue, and I will not include it in the scope of today's speech. However, I will prove that the Korean-Chinese have already lived in the basins of the Domungang River, Yoha River, and Songhwagang River for a long time. We are responsible for this issue and it is also a right to go to this region to conduct field surveys, find inscriptions and excavated articles, and study historical traces. I will help you with the part we are responsible for. The best way to study the historical development of the people is to find evidence from excavated cultures. This is the most scientific way. This is what Comrade Kwak Mal-yak claimed.   Book records are not completely reliable. This is because some were written by humans at the time, but the perspective was wrong. Some are even more unbelievable because they are forged by later generations. Therefore, historical books are only secondary materials that cannot be completely trusted. Naturally, for such a long historical problem, historical data recorded in letters should also be studied. However, in order to study these data, comrades from both China and Joseon must establish a common perspective. This point of view is that at that time, China was larger than your country and cultural development was a little faster, so there were many times when they invaded you while ignoring you with the attitude of Bonggeon-guk. Chinese historians must admit this fact. Sometimes he distorted ancient history, and even forcibly overlaid the word "Reporter's hand" on your heads, and made unreasonable attempts to find and prove the remains in Pyongyang. This is a historical distortion. How can this happen? After the Qin and Han (Korea 67) kingdoms, they frequently conquered the Yoha basin, which was only a clear invasion after the war failed. Tangnara also fought a war and failed again, but ignored you and insulted you. At that time, a great general of your country defeated our invading forces. At this time, Balhae occurred immediately. Since then, Yojok and Geumjok have emerged immediately in the northeast. At that time, the problem that China faced was the invasion of mainland China by the Yao and Geum tribes. Next was the Mongolian problem, and the Yuan Dynasty also invaded you, but eventually failed. Finally, the Ming Dynasty carried out a joint operation directly with Joseon, but the Manchurians flourished very quickly and occupied a vast area from the east of Jangbaeksan Mountain (Baekdusan Mountain) to the Yoha basin. During this period, some of the Han Chinese also moved to the northeastern region and lived there. The Manchurian ruler continued to push you east, and eventually pushed you east of the Yalu River and Domungang River. The Manchurians have contributed to China, which is a significant expansion of Chinese land. During the vigorous period, it was larger than the current Chinese land. Before the Manchurians, the Yuan Dynasty also expanded very greatly, but it disappeared immediately, so let's consider it as an exception. The land was never this big during the Han Dynasty. However, these are all traces of history and past events. It's not up to us to take responsibility for something, it's However, of course, this phenomenon must be acknowledged. Now that this has come, we must push your land to make it small and apologize to you on behalf of our ancestors for the large land we live in. So, it is essential to restore the integrity of history. History cannot be distorted. It is absurd to say that the west side of the Domungang River and Yalugang River has been Chinese territory since history, or even Joseon has been a subordinate country of China since ancient times. China's great showbinism was quite strong in the feudal era. When gifts were sent from other countries, they called them tributes, when envoys were sent from other countries to interact with each other, and when the two sides ended and strengthened the war, they said they obeyed as servants, and they called themselves Cheonjo and Sangbang, which is unequal. All of them are errors from the tip of the historian's brush. We have to correct these things right away. So, I hope that you, who understand Chinese culture and history, will jointly study the issues of Chinese and Joseon history and point out our mistakes. Because, when we read ourselves, we are often careless or ignored, so it is never a good thing to accept the various books you have read, and it is a good thing to find a problem in the book. For example, there is Seol In-gwi, a Tang Dynasty person, who conquered the East and invaded you. In our play, we worship him. However, now that we are a socialist country and you are also a socialist country, we are not allowing this play to be performed again. This play deserves criticism. In addition, in China, there are two heroes who conquered Vietnam, General Ma Won and General Bok Pa. When Vietnam's two women bravely protested and failed, they jumped into the river and volunteered, and the general cut off their neck and sent them to Nakyang. When I went to Vietnam, I criticized Ma Won by offering flowers to the shrines of the two daughters. However, in our history, Majon is highly praised. So there are two things to do. One is for archaeologists to excavate artifacts such as culture and monuments, and the other is to study books and history. Doing this will put our relationship over two or three thousand years in place... (abbreviated) We omit the two or three periods as part of modern history. --------------- Ju Eun-rae (恩來98 1898-1976) -> Yahoo Encyclopedia Chinese Revolutionary Leader and Politics.
