Personal opinions of members of the historical club - from the Age of Counter-Sea to the Age of Imperialism

 In the Age of the Counter-Sea, it becomes a very important axis of change in human history. First of all, the era of confrontation is often referred to as the "era of geographical discovery." But by whom was it discovered?  It's just a geographic discovery of Europe, and other countries are unintentionally exposed. Perhaps this era is also the source of the misfortune of our people in the future. The easiest way for a country or individual to grow up is by exploiting people who don't have it. The state can suppress its citizens, mobilize hard labor, or mobilize war to take away weak enemy countries, and entrepreneurs can earn low production costs by allocating excessive working hours to their workers, and always market cheaply to small citizens. Today, the decisive opportunity for the remarkable economic, military and cultural differences between the East and the West lies in Europe, which has developed through the aforementioned methods. Once they set foot in an unknown world such as Africa and the New World, they exploited the natives there, raked in resources, and secured significantly more supplies than other countries. As the quantity accumulated, the development of the machinery industry that could be collectively processed and made into products occurred, and this was called the Industrial Revolution, and the technology developed by the Industrial Revolution was applied to military weapons. Based on their overwhelming firepower, they increased the number of colonial countries one after another, and in the case of Britain, they also had a large colony of nearly 30% of the world. This is the age of imperialism. Moreover, unfortunately, the shrewd Japan opened its doors, absorbed their technological prowess, and subjugated our country by force, and the fire of misfortune in the era of counter-war spread from a small fire to a large fire that would burn our country entirely over hundreds of years.
