The Babylonian Cannon of Saddam Hussein

Syngman Rhee's cannon is a hot topic... ...and before Bonu, I wrote in Mangal that the Iraqi cannon in "Gogo 13" was absurd, but I remember being shocked to see someone link it. I can't believe there's an intercontinental cannon... ...not an intercontinental ballistic missile. =======================================================Pumped. From 1988 to 1990, Iraq commissioned Dr. Gerald Vincent Bull, a Canadian, to produce two Babylonian guns (1000mm in diameter) and a baby Babylonian gun (350mm in diameter), resulting in only the latter. The former's performance is quite -_- impressive, but it is said that it can fly 600kg projectiles up to 1000km using 9t special propellants, and it can also shoot 2t rocket projectiles that can carry 200kg objects into satellite orbit -_-. For your information, it costs $600/kg to load an object into satellite orbit. I mean, we can shoot satellites with cannons -_-. Of course, the projectile must be within 1m in diameter -_-. So it is said that the size is limited to about the size of a telephone box. He contacted Iraq in 1980 and made arms deals with Iraq with the acquiescence of Western intelligence agencies. It seems to be an implicit help from the West to the Iraqi side that is at war with Iran, which advocates Muslim principles. In March 1988, he signed a $250,000 contract with Iraq to build the above three cannons, disguised as a petrochemical plant called PC-2 (Petrochemical Complex 2) under the jurisdiction of British engineer Christopher Cowley. The Babylonian cannon will be 156 meters long, 1 meter in diameter, and the thickness of the foam will start at 30 centimeters and narrow to 6.5 centimeters. The cannon, which was divided into 26 parts under the name of the plant pipe, weighed 1510 tons and was ordered from the UK, with four 220 tons of recoil cylinders and 165 tons of foam. It is said that the reaction force of the cannon at the time of firing was calculated to be around 27,000 tons. In May 1989, the baby Babylon Po was completed in Jabai Hamraya 145 kilometers north of Baghdad. Once placed horizontally, the gun weighed 102 tons with a length of 45 meters and a diameter of 35 centimeters, and the gun leaned against the hill at 45 degrees for launch showed a range of 750 kilometers. It is said that these cannons can be used militarily for the following purposes: 1. Launch of NBC weapons against the other country. It's the role of a ballistic missile. 2. Anti-Satellate Weapon projectiles. It stops functioning by firing obstructions/destructors into orbit. The Babylonian cannons were also known to British and American intelligence agencies, and three weeks after the killing of a doctor by an apparent Israeli killer on March 22, 1990, Britain banned shipments of eight pieces of Babylonian cannons from its own country. On August 2, 1990, Iraq invaded Kuwait. After the war, three Babylonian cannons, completed by UN inspectors and under construction, are destroyed with 44 cannons, four recoil cylinders and about a ton of propellants. Iraq officially announces the suspension of the project, but intelligence at the end of November 1995 reports that a 600mm-diameter cannon has been detected being manufactured.
