Chromagnon, a member of Homo sapiens sapiens, has lived in Europe, southwest Asia, and Africa since about 40,000 years ago. They lived in caves or built huts outside. There are many hunting animals such as bison, horses, and mammoths around me, so I lived in caves when I could stay for a long time and in huts when I couldn't. The hut was covered with animal skin on top of a thick wooden pillar.
The cave was divided into close and deep areas from the entrance. They lived mainly near bright, less humid entrances, and at night, they built bonfires by stacking stones in a round shape. Not only did the fire shine brightly inside the cave, but it also prevented animal attacks. Murals were painted deep in the cave. As a result, the Chromagnons were recorded as the first people to create works of art among primitive humans.
The Chromagnons placed the dried moss on a plate-shaped stone and lit it to brighten the dark cave, and painted hunting bison, mammoths, deer, and wild pigs on the walls and ceilings of the cave. While painting murals like this, I prayed for a lot of prey to be caught. In addition, the Chromagnons carved human or animal images on bones, stones, and ivory. In particular, I wished for a great harvest in hunting by making statues of women and many children to be born.
The Chromagnon made clothes by raising leather with needles made of bones and threads made of animal tail hair. It is decorated with shells, bird fur, and fangs of animals caught in hunting.
When Chromagnon hunted, dozens of people joined forces to push large animals such as mammoths and buffalo down swamps or dead ends, then rushed in to catch them, or set up traps or snags to capture them. Small animals were caught using long spears. They covered the skin of animals or hid themselves with branches, approached the prey, and captured them.
