Personal opinion on white porcelain in Joseon.

The difference between white and celadon is said to be the difference between the soil produced. White porcelain is a transparent glaze, and the clay is originally white. However, if you look at the broken pieces of celadon, the inside is similar to red. That is, white porcelain is just lotion or applied on the bare face, but celadon is decorated with all kinds of colors. When it comes to pottery, it reminds me of Icheon now, but the town of Joseon white porcelain is currently Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Here, there was a state-run kiln, or official song, that creates various idiomatic white porcelain that can be said to be the highest peak of white porcelain in the Joseon Dynasty. The police station here filled the military service with a small panoramic view. In the situation room, there were many opportunities to access the place names in the jurisdiction, but in terms of place names, it seemed that it was a Kiln Site in the past. There was still a place name like Bunwon-ri. It's a bummer right now. One of the characteristics of white porcelain found in the early Gwanyo site is that there are many letters written on the floor in the order of heaven and earth. After being discharged from the military, he worked as a miscellaneous worker in the excavation of Tapgol Park to raise tuition. It is roughly excavating the existence of Wongaksa Temple Site. Wongaksa Temple did not come out, but there were a lot of white porcelain pieces, Japanese porcelain, medicine bottles, Dogwang Tongbo, or snack shells written Coca-Cola bottles, anti-communist shields, etc. in Joseon. In particular, white porcelain was often found with the heaven and earth written on the bottom.  Considering that Wongaksa Temple was built during the reign of King Sejo, it seemed to be the site of Wongaksa Temple, considering that there were things from Gwanyo. However, the site of Wongaksa Temple itself was not discovered. Even the site... White porcelain is often painted on a white background, and the image that usually comes to mind would be a blue pigment. This is cobalt, which at that time came through Western-China and was called Hoecheong. The price is almost equal to the price of gold. In addition, the soil would have been refined several times to produce pure white. Therefore, it is only its shape that the blue-and-white porcelain of the Joseon Dynasty is frugal, and it is never a frugal object. Blue flowers are expensive, so I drew with iron oxide, which usually looks brown. A few years ago, an iron white porcelain jar with a dragon painting was sold at a fairly high price at a foreign auction house.
